Hong Kong: Scrutineers Seminar
Event type:
Evening meeting, Regional Group
Organised by:
Hong Kong Regional Group
Venue:
Craigengower Cricket Club, Happy Valley
Event status:
EVENT CLOSED
The presentation will outline what applicants are told regarding the development of an application and make comments on where they go wrong. It will also discuss the new system of using pre-interview assessments and the concept of postponement if the application is judged not to be strong enough to go to interview.
The following questions, among others, will be discussed:
- As a scrutineer – what standard do I impose?
- What should a Scrutineer do when faced with the decision to postpone?
- What advice should then be given to the applicants?
- Why have the Sponsors allowed the application to go forward?
Open discussion will be encouraged to ensure that all are happy with the system and any advice from HKRG Scrutineers on improving the system will be welcome.
