Online First Coming Soon

Online First is a publish-ahead-of-print system that will soon be offered through the Society’s electronic publications platform, the Lyell Collection.

Online First will allow users to access PDF versions of Special Publication articles that have been peer reviewed and accepted for publication prior to their inclusion in the completed volume, allowing the science to reach research communities quicker. Authors will also benefit from reduced lead times between submission and publication of articles.

Lyell Collection Migrates to the H20 Platform

The long-planned migration of book and journal sites on the Lyell Collection to an upgraded platform has been successfully completed. All sites, with the exception of Petroleum Geoscience (to follow in the spring) are now redesigned and on HighWire Press’ H2O platform. The “umbrella page” from which all Lyell titles can be accessed has also been redesigned.

On the H20 platform content will be more accessible with improved navigation designed to better mirror user behaviour. The migrated sites will enable readers to take advantage of a range of enhanced research tools, and give the Society greater freedom and flexibility to develop new site features in the future.

If you have any queries on the changes please contact the Publishing House.
