Consultation documents received by the Society are listed here. Those to which the External Relations Committee has decided to try to coordinate a response are marked with an asterisk (*). All Society responses will also be published here, as soon as permission is granted by the agency to which the advice is submitted.
Responses are coordinated by the Chair of the External Relations Committee (Professor Edward Derbyshire). Responses are based upon consultation within the Society, and approved for release in accordance with the Society policy on public statements (Geoscientist, v8, No 2, pp 12-13).
If you are interested in contributing your views to any Society response, please submit your views by email only, in less than 1000 words, to ted.nield@geolsoc.org.uk, before the deadline for submissions to the Society. Please confine your views to matters that fall within the remit of the Society.
