London Walks

As part of the Society’s Bicentennial celebrations, Dr. Eric Robinson led four guided “geological” walks through two separate locations:
  • The streets of Mayfair. Title: The White Cliffs of Dover Street.
  • Kensal Green Cemetery. Title: To Paradise by way of Kensal Green.

The White Cliffs of Dover Street

The walks were held on:
  • Thursday 17 May 2007
  • Thursday 21 June 2007
The focus of the walk was to look at the two distinct ‘geologies’ (topography and construction material) of the surrounding area.
