• Accreditation Panel
  • To accredit first degree courses in geoscience for the purpose of establishing their suitability as a basis for a geoscience career. There will be an administrator of the scheme. Meetings will take place when necessary.
• Fellowship and Validation Committee
  • To consider applications for Fellowship, Chartered Geologist. European Geologist and Chartered Scientist. Meetings will take place prior to Council Meetings.
• Regional Groups Co-ordination Committee
  • To co-ordinate and support the activities of the Society's Regional Groups.
