The Geological Society is a major international Earth science publisher. It owns two journals, The Journal of the Geological Society and Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology. It co-publishes two journals: Petroleum Geoscience, with EAGE, and Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, Analysis, with AAG.
The Society also publishes journals for other societies: Journal of Micropalaeontology, Proceedings of the Yorkshire Geological Society and Scottish Journal of Geology.
In addition, the Society publishes Geoscientist, a magazine for its Fellows, and has a share in Geology Today, which is published by Blackwell Science.
JGS, QJEGH and GEEA are available electronically within the Geological Society’s online Lyell Collection, much of which is accessible free to Society members.
