The Geological Society of London was again delighted to host the 2010 Shell London Lecture Series. These monthly public lectures were all held at the Geological Society's Piccadilly apartments. A full programme is listed below.

Wednesday 8 September - A lot of hot air: Degassing and volcanic eruptions, Marie Edmonds (University of Cambridge)
Wednesday 13 October – Impacts, Jay Melosh (Purdue University)
Wednesday 10 November – Half empty or half full: How much oil and gas can we recover from our fields?, Rob Kleibergen (Shell)
Wednesday 8 December - Geological hazards: How safe is Britain?, Martin Culshaw
