The Geological Society of London is pleased to announce that its books will now be included in the Thomson Reuters Web of Science Book Citation Index.

The Society is also pleased to note that the UKREF14 will use Elsevier’s Scopus for provision of citation data (as will the Australian Research Council ERA 2012). GSL Special Publications have been indexed in Scopus for some time. Memoirs and EGSPs will also be added in time for the REF.

The launch of the Book Citation Index now provides reliable access to citation data in WoS for authors of articles in books published by the Society (including IAVCEI and TMS volumes) since 2008. The Web of Science allows users to search seamlessly across books and journals to find the information most relevant to their work within one platform (assuming your institution has subscribed to all the components of WoS).
