Friends of the Society
The success of the Shell London Lecture series has demonstrated the depth of interest in Earth science and The Geological Society outside the community of professional geoscientists. The lectures have stimulated many people to ask how they can support the Society and find out more about the exciting work being done by geologists to address the intellectual and practical challenges of the twenty-first century.
In response to this, The Geological Society has launched a scheme called ‘Friends of The Geological Society’. This is for non-professional geologists, who do not have a formal qualification in Geology or a related subject, or do not otherwise qualify for Fellowship (this includes those who have been Fellows in the past). To register your interest, please complete the form below and return it to the Society.
