We often get asked to suggest places where people can donate or sell their old journal issues. The following places might be interested, but check with them before sending anything.

Our knowledge of some of these organisations is limited, so this listing is for information only and does not constitute a recommendation.

AAPG Publication Pipeline

The AAPG Publication Pipeline Committee in the USA collects geoscience books and journals from those who no longer need them and forwards these resources to overseas universities and libraries. Consult them first, if you are based outside the USA.

The programme consists of free provision of books and literature to schools, universities and other institutions in developing countries for use as study and reference material. They collect from schools, universities, professional institutes, libraries, hospitals, publishers, companies and individuals.
