Access for Individuals

Individuals who are not Fellows of the Geological Society enjoy no special access rights to the Lyell Collection. There are three options for individuals to access content.

Become a Fellow of the Geological Society of London

Fellows of the Geological Society enjoy special access privileges to journal and older book content. They may also access all the newest Special Publications and book content by subscribing to the Full Book Collection, available from January 2008.

Encourage your library to subscribe to the Lyell Collection

Libraries can subscribe to individual journal titles or Special Publications, or to a complete package of all Lyell Collection content. Faculty members are entitled to view and download all subscribed-to content.

Access articles using pay-per-view

Non-subscribers can still access articles by selecting the pay-per-view option, which is available for all Lyell Collection content.
