Inter-Library Loans

Information for Fellows & Corporate Affiliates

Items not held by the Library may be obtained for Fellows and employees of Corporate Affiliates via the interlibrary loan system. Charges apply.  Copies of papers can now be supplied electronically by the British Library via their Secure Electronic Delivery system.  Before requesting this please ensure that you can read the test document on the British Library's SED page.

Photocopies for private research must be submitted on the Library's Photocopy Requisition Form, which may be faxed or posted to the Library.   Requests for loans (and also photocopies for commercial research) can be e-mailed to the Inter-Library Loans Librarian.

Information for Non-Members

Non-members may only borrow material from the Library by requesting an Inter-library Loan via their public, academic or company library.

Information for Librarians

The Library will consider supplying libraries with photocopies of papers or lending books (UK libraries only) if their request to the British Library has been unsuccessful.   Details of availability and charges can be obtained on application to the Inter-Library Loans Librarian.
