Use of Library by Non-Fellows


Standard rate: £25 per day; £15 per half day (after 1pm)
Unemployed / Retired Rate: £10 per day1
Student Rate: £10.00 per day1

Priority service (Same day service)

Requests received before 15.00: £10.00 per request plus the standard photocopying charge & postage (Special Delivery as per postal loans) or fax charges.

Requests received after 15.00: £25.00 per request plus the standard photocopying charge & postage (Special Delivery as per postal loans) or fax charges.

Fax transmission

Fellows:
  • Inland: £2.50 cover charge + 50p per page
  • Overseas: £2.50 cover charge + £1.00 per page
Non-Fellows:
  • Inland: £3.50 cover charge + 50p per page
  • Overseas: £3.50 cover charge + £1.00 per page
Up to 30 pages will be transmitted by fax. VAT will be added to the total cost.

Copies of obituaries

£5 +VAT by e-mail; £6 +VAT by post (UK); £7 by post (overseas)
 

Literature searches


Personal searches:
By members: FREE
By non-members: £10/hour

Searches undertaken by Library Staff (for members only):
  • Up to 30 minutes search time: FREE
  • For subsequent half hour or part: £10.00 + VAT
  • Printout: 20p per page (Postage and packing or fax transmission charges(see separate scale of charges) and VAT will be added to the total cost. Disks are charged at the minimum postage rate.)
  • Search results downloaded to disk or e-mailed: £5.00
  • Priority Service available for same day searches (for charges see under Photocopying)
 

Postal loans

Special Delivery postage charge (or Airsure + additional insurance fee to the Republic of Ireland) + £1.00 handling charge
