Geological Society of America Bulletin online access
Online access to Geological Society of America Bulletin is not administered by the Library, and is only available to those who receive the Journal of the Geological Society as part of their membership. Other GSA journals are not included. Email Fellowship if you don't know or have forgotten your username and password, or go to the GSA's "Forgotten username or password" page. Athens authentication is not currently available on the GSA website.

Forgotten Athens passwords
Go to MyAthens: Login Help at :
https://auth.athensams.net/my/loginhelp/?ath_returl=%2Fmy%2F&ath_dspid=ATHENS.MY
on the Athens website and follow the instructions for forgotten passwords, or ask the Serials Librarian for a new password.
Login not working
Passwords are case sensitive. Is the caps lock on?
Are you using the right username/password fields? The correct point to enter Athens logins is always prominently labelled as an Athens Authentication point.
- For Cambridge Journals click on “log in” in the top right hand corner, then click on “Athens log in”. This will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
- For ICE Virtual Library click on “Sign In”, then ignore the username and password boxes and click on ‘Athens sign-in’ and this will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
- For Ingentaconnect click on “sign in” on the right hand side, ignore the username and password boxes that appear and click on “Athens sign in”. This will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
- For JSTOR click on “login” on the top right hand side beside the JSTOR logo, ignore the “MyJSTOR” username and password boxes and enter Geological Society of London in the “Search by Institution Name” box and click on the “SEARCH” button. “Geological Society of London” will appear around the middle of the screen. Click on the “login” link next to it and this will take you to an Athens Authentication Point.
- For MetaPress click on “Institutional login”, choose the country and institution from the lists, click on ‘login’ and this will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
- For Oxford Journals click on “Sign in”, ignore the username and password boxes that appear and click on “Login via Athens or your institution”, then click on “Sign in via Athens”. This will take you to an Athens Authentication Point.
- On ScienceDirect the username/password fields that appear in the green box are for their passwords only. You must click on "Go to Athens / Institution login" and then click on "Athens login" on the next page to get to the Athens login page.
- For SpringerLink click on "log in", ignore the username and password boxes that appear and click on "Log In via Shibboleth or Athens". Then select "United Kingdom" and "Geological Society Library" from the lists and click on "Log In" and this will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
- For Taylor and Francis click on “Sign In” at the top of the screen, ignore the username and password boxes that appear and click on the “sign in via Athens” link on their right hand side. This will take you to an Athens Authentication Point where you can enter your Athens login.
Full text access not working
We might not have offsite access to that particular issue. If the Notes field of the journal's Library catalogue record says we do have offsite access to this issue, send details of the problem to the Serials Librarian for further investigation.
