The Hydrogeology Group of the Geological Society of London has organised a one-day meeting to consider current issues in groundwater asset management on Wednesday 10th September 2008 at Burlington House.
The meeting will consider the following themes:
The meeting promises to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date account of current groundwater asset management practice both in the UK and overseas. It will be of interest to hydrogeologists, water resource planners and managers, water utility staff, environmental consultants and contractors servicing the water sector.
Students £5, Fellows £20, Non-members £40, Pay on the door (cheque/cash). Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided. Pre-registration is required for this meeting. To register, send an email entitled ‘Groundwater Asset Management’ to Phil Merrin, United Utilities (phil.merrin@uuplc.co.uk) indicating: (i) name, (ii) affiliation, (iii) Geol Soc membership number (if applicable). Please register by 1st September 2008 to facilitate catering.
