3rd International Crime Science Conference

Date: 15 July 2009
Event Type: Conference
Venue: University College London

The third International Crime Science Conference once again brings together senior security and crime reduction practitioners, policy-makers, technologists, and leading academics, all developing the latest techniques, technologies and strategies for increasing security and reducing crime. This conference builds on the success of last year's event which attracted over 85% approval ratings from delegates. In response to delegate feedback we have moved the conference to a single-day format with a packed programme of academic research, scientific methodologies and real-world experience on show.

This year the conference will concentrate on the prevention, disruption and detection of terrorism, organised crime and crime. Technologies and methodologies from the fields of biometrics, forensic science, surveillance and crime science will be explored with planned plenary sessions on topics including data forensics, infrastructure protection and gangs and guns.
