The Forth Replacement Crossing represents the largest transport infrastructure project in Scotland for a generation. A substantial programme of ground investigation has been carried out, both on and off shore, to inform the preparation of the specimen design.

The event, a joint meeting of the Engineering Group of the Geological Society and the British Geotechnical Association, will present insights from the Forth Replacement Crossing ground investigation. Speakers are;
  • Paul Mellon, Transport Scotland;
  • Alistair Chisholm, Jacobs Arup Joint Venture; and
  • Stewart Drennan, Jacobs Arup Joint Venture.
Refreshments will be served in the lower library from 5.00pm. There is no charge for the meeting however please register your interest by emailing the convenor.
