Recent years have seen many major tunnelling projects undertaken in the London area, all of which have contributed to a greater understanding of the behaviour and nature of the ground and groundwater reigime. Using case study experience, the meeting will describe groundwater control and monitoring for tunnelling in respect of the geology of the London area.
The event would be of considerable interest to engineering geologists, hydrogeologists, environmental scientists and geotechnical engineers involved in addressing the impacts of groundwater in tunnelling and construction in London.
Speakers
The speakers are drawn from across the spectrum and include ground professionals from both client and consultant organisations. They are:
- Tim Newman, Thames Water
- Chris Gaskell, Jacobs Engineering UK Ltd
- Dr Chris Menkiti, GCG Ltd
Programme
Coffee will be served from 5:00pm, with the meeting commencing at 5:30pm. A period of open discussion will follow the presentations. For more information, please see the meeting flyer below.
