The evening meeting organised by the Engineering Group of the Geological Society will present experience and case studies of Engineering Geology across the globe. Presentations wil touch on several interesting factors, including;
  • An overview of key aspects of engineering geology in a particular region
  • Availability of data and local knowledge
  • Technical and logistical problems to overcome
  • Innovative and interesting solutions that have been used
  • Link to difference between UK and local codes and standards
