A Fieldtrip in the Eastern Mendips

The first annual fieldtrip of the Western Regional Group will consist of a day exploring the geology of the Eastern Mendips in the beautiful countryside surrounding the picturesque village of Stoke St Michael, Somerset. The trip will be lead by Dr Andy Farrant, the author of the BGS field guide to the Mendips, who will share his intimate knowledge of the area with us.
The cost of the fieldtrip will be approximately £10 per person (tbc) including a buffet lunch at the Knatchbull Arms. Spaces will be limited to approximately 30 attendees, allocated on a first come first served basis.
