Lectures and Field Trips
 

The East Midlands Regional Group committee organises a series of informal monthly evening lectures throughout the year, inviting experts from a broad spectrum of Geoscience disciplines.

Our meetings and talks are free for students and Geological Society members to attend, and we welcome members of the public at our annual Christmas lectures. Refreshments are provided free of charge before each evening lecture.

In support of people aiming to attain Chartered status, our evening lectures and field trips contribute to CPD activities and a member of the Committee will be on hand at each lecture to give advice on the Chartership process.
