British Science Association Festival 2010

Ted Nield (Editor, Geoscientist) and Sarah Day (Earth Science Communicator, Geological Society) will both be attending the British Science Association's Annual Festival of Science (as we must now call the BA or risk excommunication) at Aston University, Birmingham. This great jamboree, held each year at one of the UK's regional university towns and cities, is the oldest public festival of science in the world, the biggest such event in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe.
  • You can find out more about the British Science Association Festivals here.

Ted will be in Aston from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17, while Sarah will attend the whole event - staying through to Sunday 19.

In addition to news stories of broad interest to Earth scientists, Ted and Sarah will also attempt to convey a sense of the Festival buzz via their joint Festival Blog (see link at top of list to left, or go to the blog).
