Geoscience Education Academy 2010

The Geological Society is delighted to announce that it will be running its first residential Geoscience Education Academy from the Sunday 22 August - Wednesday 25 August.

The GEA has been principally designed to help those who do not necessarily teach geology as their principal subject on how it is a cross curriculum subject. However for those new to teaching the subject, the GEA will also act as a refresher course and provide a years worth of lesson plans!

Taking place in London, at the Geological Society’s apartments in Burlington House, teachers will get the chance to not only meet some of the worlds most influential geologists, but the opportunity to learn how to integrate geoscience into their subject.
