Education / Careers

This area includes material relevant to all stages in the career of a geoscientist – from how geology is incorporated in the National Curriculum and other information for school teachers and students; through higher education and employment options; to lifelong learning and continuing professional development.

Educational issues are dealt with by the Education Committee. The Chairman is Professor Stuart Monro and the responsible member of staff is Joanna Mears the Education and Training Officer. (The Education Committee reports to the External Relations Committee).
