Library and Information Services
The Geological Society Library was founded in 1809 and contains over 300,000 volumes of books and serials. It takes around 700 current serial titles and has a collection of over 35,000 maps. All aspects of the geological sciences are covered.
Access for non-members (including members of societies with which the Geological Society has reciprocal agreements) is by appointment only.

Offsite access to Carbonates and evaporites, Journal of the Geological Society of India, and Paläontologische Zeitschrift is now available. English is the main language of all these journals. Visit our Virtual Library for details.
