EMpower Scheme
Environmental Masters Programme Of Work Experience through Research
The EMpower scheme gives Environmental, Earth and other Science MSc students, who would not necessarily consider employment in the industry, exposure to the Nuclear Sector through research project placements and other activities such as lecture days, visits and other networking opportunities. It brings together students, academics and the Nuclear Industry through its activities and a high-profile Lecture Day held in September each year.

- Interviews for placements February
- Projects start April/May*
- Mid-term project monitoring
- Interim Report to Steering Group July
- Projects completed September*
- Lecture day late September
