In this talk, Dr Caoimhe Hickey (Geological Survey of Ireland) will guide us through some of the issues with karst aquifers in Ireland and how groundwater protection schemes as well as agricultural best management practices and public education can play an important role in karst groundwater quality, infrastructure and management.
