Laura Hamlet (North West Highlands Geopark) and Katie Farrell (Leeds University) are running an Earth Science Week geology talk to coincide with the Reiff Climbing Festival and Coigach Half Marathon. All welcome and no geological knowledge necessary; geology viewed from a climber’s perspective.

Climbers sometimes have even more words to describe rocks than geologists do, but what makes a good crag and why are some types of rock more grippy than others? Discover just how much you already understand about geology and earth processes and learn a little bit more!

Time: 7pm – 8pm
