To help celebrate Earth Science Week 2016, Dynamic earth invites you to come and get hands on with Earth Sciences. As well as travelling through space and time in our exciting exhibition, our learning team will be on hand to help you explore our planet and its processes like never before.

  • Come and explore dinosaurs with our fossil cast collection, and even hold some fossilised dinosaur poo
  • Make your own tornado
  • Explore topography using our augmented reality sandbox
  • Explore deep time and the rock cycle through our giant jigsaw
  • Explore satellites and Earth observation with stunning pictures of Earth from space
  • See if you can detect a meteorite from a 'meteo-wrong'
  • Take a trip to the tropical rainforests and be a bug detective
  • Travel to the Polar Regions and explore the different forms of life which call these areas their home
