Groundwater is a vital resource, providing drinking water for over a billion people worldwide. It can also provide a pathway for contaminants to migrate which harm human health. This one-day conference brings together leading academics, regulators and consultants to discuss known and emerging groundwater pollutants and the potential implication for human health in the UK and beyond.

This conference also incorporates the 2012 National Ground Water Association (USA) Darcy Lecture given by Professor S. Majid Hassanizadeh, Utretcht University. This will be held at the end of the conference.
