Trace metals are critical for life, are toxic pollutants, and are tracers of process and rate in the past and present ocean. Significant recent measurement campaigns have revolutionised understanding of the oceanic cycling of trace elements.

This meeting will discuss these advances, and their implications for a broad range of ocean, climate, and carbon cycle research.
