Ted Nield, editor of Geoscientist will be returning to home territory (Manchester) to talk about his latest book, Underlands.
This book looks into our industrial heritage especially our dependence on local building materials, which has in most places now ceased with foreign imports taking over our natural resources.
Ted is a very entertaining speaker and his lectures are always well worth attending!
