The Geological Society of London is the UK's national society for geoscience, providing support to over 12,000 members in the UK and overseas. Founded in 1807, we are the oldest geological society in the world.
The Library holds a number of special events throughout the year which are open to both Fellows and members of the public alike. Each event is inspired by items from our important historical collections and brought to life by an invited guest speaker, generally a Fellow of the Society who is an expert in that field.
