In collaboration with the Science Council, Sarah Day reports from the Big Bang Fair, part of National Science and Engineering Week, which took place on 11-13 March 2010 at Manchester Central.
Thousands of schools and families visited to meet scientists and exhibitors from industries and businesses. The fair also hosted the National Science and Engineering Competition for 11-18 year olds, with lots of prizes available for student projects. Over the summer, many regional Big Bang Fairs will be taking place.
