Earth Science Week 2015: Geological Time

""

In 2015 we celebrated the 200th anniversary of William Smith’s amazing geological map of England & Wales – the first nationwide geological map. 2015 was also the first of our themed years – the Year of Mud – highlighting mud’s role in our understanding of the history of our planet.

With this in mind, the theme for 2015’s Earth Science Week was ‘Geological Time.’
