This event marks the launch of The Early Career Hydrogeologists' Network (ECHN) in Great Britain.
It is supported by the British Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, Strathclyde University and Hydrogeologists without Borders UK.

Friday 26 September:
A series of talks and workshops on:
- Hydrogeology & the Environment (SEPA)
- Humanitarian Work & Hydrogeology (Strathclyde University)
- Dealing with ethical issues at your workplace (Charles Ruxton, Geowater Ltd.)
- Publishing & other types of knowledge exchange (Brighid O Dochartaigh, BGS and IAH)
An evening dinner and Ceilidh
Saturday 27 September:
A field trip exploring the hydrogeology of the Central Belt of Scotland.
Registration
The Cost to attend is £15 (£10 for students)
- Spaces are limited so please RSVP as soon as possible via [email protected], providing any access or dietary requirements and indicating whether you will (i) attend the evening ceilidh and / or (ii) the Saturday morning field trip. Please also indicate whether you would like information on accommodation.
Equipment Requirements
- Outdoor clothing for field trip
- Dancing shoes for Ceilidh (and £6 to pay at the door)
