Central Scotland: Poster and Presentation Competition 2016

The Scottish Geotechnical Group of the ICE and the Central Scotland Regional Group (CSRG) of the Geological Society of London are jointly hosting a poster competition in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology.
The event will take place on Tuesday
6 December
2016 to coincide with a social evening for
members
and
guests of both groups
and anyone with an interest in the field.
Entries have been
received
from
a mix of geotechnical engineers, geologists and related construction
professionals, including
research students. The topics to be presented range from
slope
stabilisation
to
3D
geotechnical modelling
and
include projects of regional interest.
All entrants
are under 30 years of age. A prize will be awarded
to the winner plus annual possession of an
engraved trophy commemorating the event. In addition all competitors will receive a prize.
