Student Memberships

The Geological Society

The Geological Society does not offer membership to school pupils, except those aged 16 or over.

Student Membership is usually for those between the age of 16-18, studying for A-levels or equivalent, or those studying an undergraduate course in Earth science or a related subject.

If you have a keen interest in geology and can provide satisfactory evidence of your intent to go on and take a degree in geology or a related subject, or you are already studying an undergraduate course in Earth science or a related subject, you can apply for Student Membership.

You can remain a Student member for up to one year after graduation.
