The Istanbul Technical University is pleasure to invite you to the 12th International Congress for Applied Mineralogy (ICAM) in Istanbul/Turkey, on 10 August – 12 August 2015.

This conference is an opportunity for professional development, to share and disseminate information, and to foster the continuous advancement of the field of applied mineralogy. There is the chance to meet colleagues working at the cutting edge, and extend your network with other professionals in your field. Workshops, short courses and field trips are available to attend.

Call for Papers: Abstract submission at ICAM 2015

Delegates are invited to submit a preliminary abstract in English for review, compliant with any of the 12th ICAM themes. The deadline for submissions is 1 May 2015.

Written contributions must be submitted using the online editorial system, and all are subject to peer-review. Contributions submitted via electronic or regular mail will not be considered.

To submit a Preliminary Abstract, you must first register, after which you will be forwarded to the editorial system. You will be asked to enter the names of all contributing authors, abstract title, up to five keywords, and then the actual text (limited to 200 words). Follow the instructions onscreen

All accepted abstracts will be collated in a Program & Abstracts book, included with delegate registration. During the ICAM Congress, oral presentations in all technical sessions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Selected contributions will be invited to prepare a full paper manuscript for a Special Issue in Mineralogy & Petrology, a Springer journal. All invited manuscripts will be subject to peer review by journal referees.
